Why BlueOcean Entrepeneurship....

Welcome to my fresh start blog versing about what is like to be in global jobs, global companies, global projects, global mindnesses and everyday becoming more and more integrated and how to deal with cultural and regional differences in a smooth manner.I have called this blog Blue Ocean Entrepeneurship because I believe every global executive has an underpinning mask of an entrepeneurship from the inside. And of course the powerfull image of a big blue ocean ahead of us means the infinity of possibilities and richness in this path to our professional and personal achievements.

Welcome all!!!!

CISCO STBU Strategic Security Forum for Mid-Market 2012

Here I go again.

As my second year participation, I can say that the outcome of the 2012 Cisco STBU Security Forum for mid-market customers was very interesting, from a stand point of a customer and also as an IT Executive.

It happened on the Bay Area, very close to San Francisco downtown, in a very nice and convenient location nearby the SFO Airport.

The event gave the chance to interact directly with the state-of-the-art security spots in industry, future product enhancements, also on hearing the experts about the design and human computer interface matters.

Also, the interaction between peers from all parts of the world was a top notch for me, as well as listening to such inovators as the main solution managers from Cisco from IPS throughout the entire chain until mobility and BYOD.

Also, it gave me the opportunity, as I always try, to interact and kind of feel the ambiance and the surroundings, in this case of Burlingame District and a little bit of Powell street in San Francisco.

BART Train inside pics from Millbrae station until Powell Street Stations

I took the BART train in Millbrae station nearby my location and took it into Powell Street Station. I could see some of the villages' houses along with the huge highways side by side with the railways.  A fine experience. The weather was between 45 and 55 F and very rainy, so unforntunately very harsh for just walking by outside.

At Powell Street Station stop, we can visit a nice street mall and a great food store named Bristol Farms, where you can find all kinds of natural seized food as well as vegetables and relatives.

Small Cafe wirh a nice expresso just by the station's mall entrance and right beside Bristol Farms store
Also, I've had the opportunity to visit the lovely Burlingame food district, with colorfull wineries, natural food stores and restaurants. I missed my wife and daughter a lot then, because it would be the perfect place to be with them as a free time spot.

Well, I thank once more the incredible competent CISCO staff, professionals and VP for the amazing and unique chance.

Once in a lifetime opportunity and very educational program, as well as an amazing stand point for having the latest news about cyber crimes, security and data protection.

I definitely appreciate that.

Thanks
